SOUTHLAKES LITTLE ATHLETICS CENTRE

Welcome to another season of athletics with Southlakes Little Athletics Centre Inc. We are always looking to improve how we run everything and any suggestions are move than welcome. This will be our 4th year at the Dora Creek Workers Club who have supported us so well. They even built a top notch long jump facility just to make us ‘feel at home’.
 
We continued our representative success last season with many athletes representing our Centre at Zone, Regional and State Championships. Improvements can only be successful with the commitment of your elected committee and your support. Last season we had a majority of our member renew from the previous season showing how strong we have grown as an athletics centre. We are growing in support and strength each season.

Last season we held our first carnival and aim to host many more. Considering the heat we had a successful day and look forward to inviting other clubs to annual carnivals in the future.

Southlakes is the southern of the 9 clubs in our Zone. We are a relatively small club compared to other clubs in our zone. We’re a friendly bunch and only to happy to answer any questions you may have. Please don’t be afraid to ask, we were all unsure how it worked when we started. We are enthusiastic about our club & our cheer squad of parents and friends at carnivals are second to none.
